So, what is creative, really?
On the surface, you'll see "creative" from McCarthy Creative as the process of adding words, design, sounds and texture to the core message about your product. But there's more to it than that.

Creative is a funny word. It's usually used in the same sentence as terms like bizarre, outrageous, off-the-wall or cutting edge. The word "creative" is also associated with change. Sometimes that's right. Sometimes it's not.

One thing for sure: Creative is the act of making something new. Because no matter how hard you try, you just can't create something old.

Yet "new" doesn't always mean "against convention." Look at our logo. It's new, but it looks like it has been around for a hundred years.

"New" certainly means different things for different clients. If you're introducing a new soft drink, tennis shoes, computer technology or a slick new music format, you'll need something far different than if you are introducing a new line of insurance, frozen dinner, classic furniture or raising money for a charity.

McCarthy Creative respects history as much as we understand the present and anticipate the future. Maybe whatever you're selling has been around for 100 years. It may be the same product, but every new day presents a brand new marketplace.

The art and science of effective creative is to increase desire regardless of the age of the audience and the product or service you're promoting. The result is an increase in the perceived value of your product or service, with a subsequent, pleasant bump in your income.

McCarthy Creative believes in shelf-life. We're not big on changing things that shouldn't be changed. On the other hand, when it is time for change, we'll make sure it's a change for the better and a change that you can not only live with, but will benefit from as long as possible.

We have a proven track record with charities and manufacturers, with restaurants and computer chip makers, with industry and education. We'll make sure our creative fits your unique need—no matter what.
